Episode Overview

The eight explorers are dropped off by helicopters at a snowy peak. They divide into three teams to tackle a 300-foot cliff, navigate a ravine, and cover eight miles of the Triumvirate Glacier. Marty Raney, his son Matt, and Brent Sass take a lower path and are the first to make it across. Meanwhile, Willi Prittie and the Seavey brothers navigate away from the icebergs, wading through frigid 33-degree waters. Austin and Tyler choose to avoid the glacier entirely, making their way along the ridgeline. They arrive last, with Austin beginning to show symptoms of hypothermia.
