Episode Overview

Walter Nebicher, a young police officer eager for action, finds himself stuck in a desk job assigned by his superior, Captain Boyd. Utilizing his computer skills, he creates an advanced crime-solving program that unexpectedly manifests as a holographic figure named Automan. Due to the high energy required, Automan can only appear at night when city power consumption is lower. Together, they form an unconventional crime-fighting duo. Their first case arises when Walter's friend, Lt. Jack Curtis, goes missing while probing the disappearances of prominent scientists, leading them to uncover a sinister international scheme to abduct the world’s leading intellectuals.
