Episode Overview
In an alternate realm, the fierce Black Rock Shooter faces off against a mysterious adversary with striking red eyes. Back in the human world, Mato Kuroi starts her middle school journey and quickly forms a bond with her classmate, Yomi Takanashi, as they share a nostalgic love for a childhood book. However, their friendship is tested when Yomi invites Mato over, only for the arrival of Kagari Izuriha, a possessive girl in a wheelchair, who reacts aggressively towards Mato, causing her distress. Simultaneously, Black Rock Shooter follows a green path leading to a desolate area littered with broken toys, where she encounters Chariot, a girl who bears a striking resemblance to Kagari.
