NCIS makes a bargain with Paul Triff, a convicted murderer, allowing him a 48-hour leave to stay at his old home, which is now McGee's residence. In return, Triff agrees to provide intelligence that could help pin the crime on his former cellmate, Gabriel Hicks, the killer who managed to fool Gibbs and Fornell.
