Episode Overview

Harper can’t shake his fixation on Viveca Wells, certain she killed her last husband. When he finds out she’s engaged again, he confronts her fiancé, Richard, who calmly admits he knows everything about her past—and doesn’t care. As Harper digs deeper with Ali, fighting his own pull toward Viveca, he discovers Richard has been her partner all along. Meanwhile, Nicco is frustrated: six weeks off suspension, and he hasn’t caught a single case. Ali finally gives him a small break—interviewing a witness in a racially charged murder. Nicco gets a positive ID, but the outcome leaves him deeply unsatisfied.
