C.C. wagers her brother that he won't be able to persuade Fran to join a game of Jeopardy!. To everyone’s surprise, Fran competes and emerges victorious! In another storyline, Mr. Sheffield becomes increasingly anxious about not receiving an invitation to the president's Renaissance Weekend. To ease his disappointment, Fran secures tickets for him and their new neighbor, Roger Clinton.
