Plot
In "Where the Heart Is," 17-year-old Novalee Nation finds herself in a tough situation when her boyfriend abandons her while she’s pregnant, leaving her stranded on a roadside. Seeking shelter, she takes refuge in a Wal-Mart, where she encounters a group of quirky yet compassionate individuals who take her and her newborn under their wing. With their support, Novalee learns to navigate the challenges of motherhood and begins to forge a new path for herself and her child, discovering the meaning of family and resilience along the way.
