California Schemin' (2026)
Plot
In the late '90s, Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd's musical dreams kept getting shot down because of their supposedly 'wrong' accents. So they went all in, transforming themselves into fake Californian rappers. They re-recorded their own songs with phony voices and showed up in London, claiming to be a well-known West Coast duo who'd been childhood buddies with Eminem. Before long, they'd scored a record deal, a fat advance, and even MTV airtime—until their whole house of cards collapsed.
