Plot

Asalif and his mother resist the overwhelming modern housing developments in Ethiopia, choosing instead to embrace a lifestyle deeply connected to nature and their community. In response to the disruptions in his familiar environment and the looming danger of a hyena in their area, the boy transforms himself into a hero, adopting the persona of Anbessa, the lion.
