Plot

In 1987 Indiana, Pike Ables finds himself accused of a murder he can't recall, grappling with heroin withdrawal. Facing a choice between imprisonment and fleeing to Canada for a fresh start, he turns to his younger brother, Jack. A psychiatrist on the verge of fatherhood, Jack is willing to abandon his pregnant wife in a desperate bid to rescue Pike.
