Plot
Ruby finds herself infatuated with Eddie, a petty con artist. Their lives take a dark turn during a failed blackmail attempt, resulting in Eddie unintentionally killing their target. As a consequence, Eddie goes on the run while Ruby faces her own fate, sentenced to two years in a reformatory.
