Plot
Elizabeth Bright Murdock enlists private detective Philip Marlowe to track down a valuable coin, the Brasher Doubloon, from her late husband's collection. As Marlowe delves into the search, he soon becomes embroiled in a mysterious string of murders that complicate his mission.
