Beth Curry first garnered industry-wide attention in 2020 when she won the prestigious Oscar-sponsored Nicholl Fellowship for her screenplay *Lemon*, a project that was quickly optioned by Mandalay Pictures. Her next original feature, *The Wonder Yard*, is slated to begin production in early 2026, with a cast that includes Kate Mara, Tony Shalhoub, and Jacki Weaver. Another script, *Almost Normal*, has Annaleigh Ashford attached to star.

Before finding her voice as a screenwriter, Curry built a notable career on the Broadway stage, performing in productions such as *Legally Blonde*, *Good Vibrations*, *Young Frankenstein*, and *Dirty Rotten Scoundrels*. She has also appeared as an actor in numerous television series, including *Hacks*, *GLOW*, *Shining Vale*, *Superstore*, *Hart of Dixie*, *Pretty Freekin’ Scary*, *Seal Team*, and *Paradise*, among others.

Most recently, Curry directed and produced a short film adaptation of her Nicholl-winning script *Lemon*. This project helped her earn recognition as a 2025 Shondaland Directing Fellowship Finalist, further establishing her as a multi-talented force across writing, acting, directing, and producing.
